Nick’s always had a natural talent as a free hand artist, spending any free time dabbling with illustrations and paintings, fine tuning his self-taught skills. 

Encouraged to take his art further by everyone who saw it, Nick initially began turning his illustrations into prints, soon adding a small line of tee shirts and accessories.   

Initially a hobby business, dabbling in local markets and events, Nick's drawings and designs were an instant hit and crowds would gather to watch his drawings come to life and request them on tee shirts and other apparel. Drawn Downunder quickly amassed a loyal following and our collection quickly grew. 

Living on the Gold Coast, with the ocean on our doorstep, Nick’s design style combines his passion for surfing with his love of nature, the ocean and animals.  Add to that a tropical influence with a fun retro feel thrown in, Nick’s “style” emerged and the unique Drawn Downunder brand was born.

We’ve now built a brand that we’re proud of – original, hand drawn designs that are unique
to our style and with enough diversity of themes to cater to everyone!
